The Lives We Impact

Our Programs

Our Misson

"Rotary finally opened its good eye and realized there is a huge untapped wealth of rich service opportunities to be channelled through our growing, very active senior populations.

Swampscott and Marblehead jumped on the new Rotary Club like a puppy to a bone.”

Fraffie Welch

ElderAct is a newly formed senior volunteer group sponsored by the Swampscott Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor.  The only requirements are “service above self” and to have fun.  There are no dues or attendance requirements. Membership is open to all seniors.

"I don’t know what it’s all about but am interested in learning more about it.

Everyone here, I’m sure, has active lifestyles and is a resource ready to contribute in some way.

[The club] could be a great asset to both towns."

JoAnne Mayer
